Living Accommodations at the Eastern Shore AHEC
The Eastern Shore Area Health Education Center has leased several apartments for student housing needs. All are two bedroom apartments which will house up to four students. The apartments are located in Chestertown, Easton and Salisbury. [ photo of apartment ]
| All apartments are "Smoke Free" as smoking is not allowed in our facilities. We are committed to providing a safe, clean environment for all of our students and do not allow the use or possession of illegal drugs or abuse of other controlled substances such as alcohol. |
All apartments have twin sized beds, lamps, mirrors, dressers, TV's with cable service, telephone for local calls, internet hookups, central air conditioning and heat, full kitchens (including pots, pans, dishes, utensils and silverware), and storage areas. Some apartments have washer and dryer units in the apartments while others may have only access to shared washer and dryers.
Bed linens and towels are provided. Students have the responsibility to change their bed linens and make sure that they are washed. Washing aids are provided. (Soaps, Clorox, etc.)
Blankets and pillows are also provided, but students may choose to bring their own (fluffed the way they like it) pillows.
Bathrooms are shared.
Candles are not allowed.
You need to bring....Your clothes, toothbrush, clock, personal items, and things to enjoy your recreational activities. There is easy access to grocery stores for buying your food needs so you may want to wait until you get to your apartment before buying foodstuffs.
DO NOT bring your pets. Unfortunately they are not allowed.
Arrangements for your housing can be made at the time you set up your rotations. Directions to your housing can be obtained at the same time.
